SA Olive Awards 2014 Results
This year only 76 olive oils were entered into the SA Olive Awards, compared to 100 odd last year. This is likely due to the low yielding olive harvest this year.
South Africa’s Best Olive Oils Unveiled
South Africa’s leading olive oil producers were honoured with gold medals at the annual SA Olive Awards last night (28 August). A total of 17 exceptional extra virgin oils received gold medals in three categories – 3 for Delicate, 8 for Medium and 6 for Intense style oils.

Entries Open For SA Olive Awards 2014
Entries for the 2014 SA Olive Awards are open. One hundred per cent locally-produced South African olive oils are eligible to enter the annual competition, now in its 9th year. SA Olive, the local industry regulator, invites entries in the categories for Delicate, Medium and Intense oils by 24 July.
