Judging is underway at the 2016 SA Olive Awards. This year has seen a sharp rise in the entry tally, signalling tough rivalry for the coveted medals.
The judges took on the arduous task to analyse a record 110 entries and identify this year’s top-rated extra virgin olive oils. It is the most extensive tasting yet in the 11 year history of the competition.

Judging will conclude on Friday 19 August. This year’s medalists, the Olive Achiever of the Year and recipient of the Mentorship Award will be unveiled during an awards ceremony at Kronenburg Estate in Paarl on 01 September.
