Olives are not only for eating and making olive oil from, while we won’t deny the deliciousness of them we have come to see how olives have inspired many other areas of the home, not just the kitchen.
From the humble yet hardy olive tree to his vibrant fruits and oils, olives have been inspiring décor for years. The natural hues of olive green can be seen in bedrooms, bathrooms, carpets, wallpaper, furniture and even children’s play rooms. Even the use of the olive tree as an indoor or outdoor potted plant has become a growing trend in décor and gives a Mediterranean feel to a space.
Just like olives, the shades can vary from bright to soft and just like the olive has many health benefits, the colour green also has a positive effect on our moods.
